Using the app on internal or air-gapped networks TN-Q05

The desktop editions of PowerMapper and SortSite install on desktop Macs and PCs, so work with intranets, SharePoint sites and other web sites behind a firewall.

Air-gapped networks cannot access the internet, so the app works with the following minor limitations:

• the update check on the app home page is blank because it requires internet access to order.powermapper.com (updates can be monitored manually)
• the FAQ section on the app home page is blank because it requires internet access to order.powermapper.com (a FAQ is available online)
