This major release delivers a redesigned reporting experience alongside significant updates to our SEO and Usability rule sets — helping you find what matters faster and act on it with confidence.

A fresh, more consistent experience

Reports have been redesigned with clearer, more useful summaries, and the app home page has been refreshed. Scan Options now sit in the same, predictable places across our Windows, Mac, and Web apps — so switching platforms no longer means relearning the interface. Throughout the apps, the user interface has been polished for a smoother workflow.

Smarter, more modern checking

• Modern validation for legacy pages — a new option runs legacy HTML 4 and XHTML through the modern HTML validator.
• Broader ARIA 1.3 support for more accurate accessibility testing.
• Major SEO and Usability updates, including new DuckDuckGo search guidelines, with obsolete rules (Usability.gov, IE11, Yahoo) retired.
