How do I export a map with relative links TN-W02

This FAQ answer is obsolete but preserved for historical interest.

The Export command on the File menu produces maps with relative links. The command exports maps relative to the Base URL entered in the Export dialogue (by default this is the URL of your start page).

For example, if you've made a map of https://www.example.com/ and want to put the map files in the subdirectory https://www.example.com/map/ you would do the following:

  1. Map the site in the normal way
  2. Choose the Export command and change the Base URL to https://www.example.com/map/
  3. Once you've exported the map, upload the contents of the map directory (created by the previous step) to the directory on your server corresponding to https://www.example.com/map/
