An Internal Error appears when I choose New Map TN-M18

This FAQ answer is obsolete but preserved for historical interest.

This happens in PowerMapper 2.0 and earlier if it can't map any pages on the site you've chosen. This happens for one of the following reasons:

• The start page is generated by a CGI script and Ignore CGI Scripts is set.
• The site's Webmaster has excluded Web crawlers using the Robot Exclusion Standard.
• You've blocked the page using the Blocks tab of the Mapping Options dialogue.

You can override these behaviors using the Blocks tab on the Mapping Options dialogue.

The problem is fixed PowerMapper 3.0, which displays a message if it can't map any pages.
