SortSite/PowerMapper Retail Boxes (Mar 2008)

In response to customer requests we're making PowerMapper and SortSite available in retail boxes, with help of the folks at SwiftCD.

The first boxes are rolling out of production the first week of March, and will be available to buy from our web site a few days later.

SortSite 2.0 Released (Feb 2008)

Electrum announce the availability of SortSite 2.0. The latest release contains a slew of new features including:

  • Issue maps (site maps showing the location of issues)
  • Page inventory
  • Section 508 accessibility guidelines
  • HTML source annotated with issues & fix help
  • An RSS reader
  • Improved installation on Vista

PowerMapper Certified for Vista (Oct 2007)

Certified for Windows Vista

Electrum announce PowerMapper 4.07, which is “Certified For” Windows Vista. Certified for Vista applications are tested by independent labs to ensure they meet Microsoft compatibility and reliability guidelines.

“Microsoft is pleased that Electrum has earned the Certified for Windows Vista software logo for PowerMapper,” said Brad Goldberg, General Manager for Windows Vista Product Management at Microsoft Corp. “By certifying their applications, Electrum is letting their customers know that their product has met explicit standards of reliability and quality, and has been tested and proven to deliver a superior experience with a PC running Windows Vista.”

SortSite 1.0 Launched (Feb 2007)

Electrum announce the release SortSite 1.0, a revolutionary web site quality tool. SortSite checks web sites against 300+ checkpoints and validates against W3C standards. Issues checked include accessibility, browser compatibility, and search engine optimization.

2006

PowerMapper 4.0 Released (April 2006)

Electrum has released PowerMapper 4.0, the latest version of their award winning web site mapping tool. PowerMapper produces maps of any web site, and is used by information architects who plan web site structure. PowerMapper 4.0 includes many new features: new map styles, tiled printing of large maps and export to Excel format.

PowerMapper Hits 25% of Fortune 100 (Jan 2006)

Latest sales figures reveals that PowerMapper is used by 25% of the Fortune 100 and 17% of the Global 100. This comes on the back of strong sales to institutions like Harvard University, NASA and MIT.

Electrum announce the release of PowerMapper 4.0, which has achieved the “Designed For Windows XP” certification. Designed For XP applications are verified by independent testing labs to meet stringent compatibility and reliability guidelines.
